<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly inform a rider of an abnormal smart key. <P>SOLUTION: A motorcycle 1 comprises a smart key system 100 having a mobile terminal 101 transmitting code signals 102, and a receiver 110 receiving the code signals 102, authenticating the code signals 102, and turning on a power source 400 of a straddle type vehicle 1 when authentication of the code signals 102 is judged as proper. The motorcycle 1 comprises a vehicle body 20, a meter panel 24 mounted to the vehicle body 20, and an abnormality informing lamp part 25 mounted to a part of the vehicle body 20 isolated from the meter panel 24. A control device 110 detects abnormality of the smart key system.
