PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine combustor capable of achieving stable combustion and reduction of NOx emission even when a liquid fuel of low quality is used. SOLUTION: This gas turbine combustor 3 comprises a premixer having a fuel nozzle 105 for jetting the liquid fuel of low quality as fine liquid droplets, a mixing chamber 14 provided with the fuel nozzle at its head portion, formed along the fuel jetting direction, and mixing the fuel liquid droplets jetted from the fuel nozzle with a part of the compressed air, and an evaporation chamber 15 disposed between the mixing chamber 14 and the combustion chamber 3, and evaporating the fuel liquid droplets jetted from the fuel nozzle and mixed with a part of the compressed air in the mixing chamber, by the heat of a part of the compressed air, and a plurality of air introduction holes 18-20 are formed on a wall surface of the mixing chamber in a state of being separated from each other in the axial direction of the mixing chamber 14, to introduce a part of the compressed air into the mixing chamber 14 formed at an inner peripheral side.
