<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desulfurizing agent for molten steel and its production method with which the desulfurizing treatment for molten steel can efficiently and uniformly be performed and further, the erosion of a refractory is little. <P>SOLUTION: The desulfurizing agent is characterized as follows. When three-components of CaO, CaF<SB>2</SB>and MgO are shown with cordinate-axes of triangle figure, this desulfurizing agent is contained in the range of 35-55 mass% CaO, 25-45 mass% CaF<SB>2</SB>and 7-33 mass% MgO and≤10 mass% impurity content, and CaF<SB>2</SB>layer is melt and stuck on the surface of the CaO pericle and the thickness of the CaF<SB>2</SB>layer stuck on the CaO particle surface is≥0.1μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
