摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method or the like that, in a network-based robot system, is capable of certainly sending significant data and minimizing the size of transmitted data. SOLUTION: The disclosed method includes a service server and a robot wherein, in order to send significant data to be certainly sent, a transmitting side checks whether the significant data sent by the transmitting side have been received by a receiving side using a response packet sent from the receiving side based on the information about the necessity of activation of portions of a device map section corresponding to the significant data or the like and based on data existing in the corresponding portions of a payload section. Furthermore, when repeatedly sending next packet data until it is acknowledged that the data have been received, the transmitting side repeatedly activates relevant portions of the device map section for the significant data that can not be received, creates packet data by repeatedly including the significant data that can not be received in corresponding portions of the payload section, and sends the created packet data to the receiving side.
