PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of enhancing the presentation effect with the variable display of special symbols by diversifying the modes of variable display of the special symbols. SOLUTION: The game machine includes a main CPU and a subordinate CPU. The main CPU determines a variable display pattern of the special symbols and ornament symbols according to a jackpot lottery when a game ball passes through a start hole 18, and variably displays the special symbols in a special symbol display 24 according to the determined variable display pattern of the special symbols. The subordinate CPU variably displays the ornament symbols in a liquid crystal display device 21 according to the variable display pattern of the ornament symbols determined by the main CPU according to the jackpot lottery. The main CPU determines a variable display pattern to scroll the variable display of the special symbols if the variable display in the liquid crystal display device 21 makes a ready-to-win state.
