PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device performance management method for detecting a device which is highly likely to cause trouble in performance in an application in the future. SOLUTION: This device performance management method is provided with: configuration information collection processing S233 for collecting a device, a logical unit which is configured by abstracting the device, the configuration information of an application, and the configuration information on the dependency of performance among the device, the logical unit and the application; performance information collection processing S231 for collecting the performance information of the device, the logical unit and the application; saturation sign detection processing S236 for analyzing the correlation between the time change value of the performance information of the device and the performance information of the logical unit having the dependency of the device and performance for a predetermined period, and for detecting that the there is a sign of saturation when correlation coefficients acquired by the correlation analysis are a predetermined threshold or more; and saturation sign information output processing S238 for announcing the saturation sign relevant information of the device showing a sign of saturation to a management client who manages performance.
