PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal reinforcement bar superior in meshing performance with concrete by providing sufficient strength as a substitute for a reinforcement by using basalt fiber, and a forming device of this metal reinforcement bar. SOLUTION: The metal reinforcement bar of this invention is used for reinforcing the concrete. The metal reinforcement bar is composed of a core material including the basalt fiber extending in one direction, and a reinforcing bar having directionality different from the basalt fiber included in the core material and added to a core material surface. The reinforcing bar has desirably at least one spirally extending fiber selected from a group of glass fiber, carbon fiber and the basalt fiber. The directionality of the basalt fiber included in the core material is also set in the longitudinal direction of the core material, and directionality of the reinforcing bar has desirably a predetermined angle in the longitudinal direction of the core material.
