PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a biocoke capable of being used as an alternate fuel for coal coke from a biomass as a raw material, and to provide a method for producing the biocoke. SOLUTION: This method for producing the biocoke, comprising crushing a biomass raw material, charging the crushed raw material in a reactor, heating the raw material in a temperature range where hemicellulose in the biomass raw material is thermally decomposed to show an adhesive effect, in the reactor, pressing the heated raw material in a pressure range where the thermosetting reaction of lignin in the crushed biomass is shown in the heated state, holding the pressed state, and then discharging the cooled content, wherein a plurality of reactors are circularly arranged, revolved along the outer periphery of the ring, and then subjected to the charging, heating, pressing, cooling and discharging operations, before the reactors are once revolved.
