The present invention is directed to assays for the detection of an anti- drug antibody in general and in particular to the detection of an anti-drug antibody wherein the drug has a carbohydrate moiety. The invention is also d irected to assays for the detection of a drug in general and in particular t o the detection of a drug wherein the drug has a carbohydrate moiety. The in vention is further directed to methods for identifying appropriate subjects for treatment with a drug containing a carbohydrate moiety.
