FERRITE SINTERED BODY, COIL COMPONENT, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING FERRITE SINTERED BODY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Mn-Zn-based ferrite sintered body superior in insulation property by a simple method by enhancing resistance of its surface part while suppressing lowering of magnetic characteristics.

SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the ferrite sintered body comprising main components of MnO, ZnO and Fe2O3, is characterised by forming the environment in firing temperature retention of a firing process from a mixture gas consisting of an inert gas and a reducing gas and making the oxygen concentration of the environment in a cooling process higher than the oxygen concentration in firing temperature retention. Also, the firing process is preferably carried out by using a microwave sintering furnace.
