PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atmospheric pressure cationic dyeable copolyester polymer, its production method, and a fiber produced by using this polymer. SOLUTION: The atmospheric pressure cationic dyeable copolyester polymer is produced by using, based on the whole dibasic acid component, an aliphatic dibasic acid in an amount of 1-20 mol% and a metal sulfonate salt-containing bishydroxyethyl isophthalate in an amount of 1.0-2.0 mol%.
