Disclosed is a resin composition having excellent gas barrier property, transparency and mechanical properties, which is hardly colored. Also disclosed are a method for producing such a resin composition, and a molded body. Specifically disclosed is a polyester resin composition containing 2-30% by weight of a predetermined polyamide resin (A), 69.5-97.99% by weight of a predetermined polyester resin (B) and 0.01-0.5% by weight of a divalent and/or trivalent polyvalent carboxylic acid compound (C). This polyester resin composition satisfies the following relations: a <= b, 60 <= a + b <= 150, 1 <= c x Cc <= 20, 1 <= c x Cc/(a x Ca) <= 12. (In the formulae, a represents the terminal amino group concentration of the polyamide resin (A); b represents the terminal carboxyl group concentration of the polyamide resin (A); c represents the carboxyl group concentration of the polyvalent carboxylic acid compound (C), Cc represents the concentration of the polycarboxylic acid compound (C) in the polyester resin composition; and Ca represents the concentration (g/g) of the polyamide resin (A) in the polyester resin composition. Also specifically disclosed are a method for producing such a resin composition and a molded body obtained by molding such a resin composition. |
