An organic electroluminescence device including an anode (20), a cathode (80), and at least an emitting layer (50) and an electron-transporting layer (60) provided between the anode (20) and the cathode (80); the emitting layer (50) containing a host material which is a fluoranthene derivative represented by the following formula (1) and a dopant material which is an indenoperylene derivative:
wherein Ar is a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms; and Rs are independently a hydrogen atom, substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms.
