An intersection guiding system of a navigation system and an operating method thereof provide the accurate intersection guidance by separately providing guidance about the intersection access and an entry available section based on the entry available section. The movement route to the destination location which a user sets up is searched and the route guidance is performed according to the searched movement route. In case an intersection is sensed among the movement route, the guiding information about the intersection is guided based on the exiting available section defined with regard to the intersection(S40). The entry available section is defined as the coordinate of the start point and the end point of the section in which the entry to a driveway is allowed. |
