METHOD OF ENCRYPTING AND DECRYPTING DATA, AND BUS SYSTEM USING THE SAME

A method for encrypting and decrypting data and a bus system using the same enhances security of transmitted data on a bus by performing decryption only when the sequence number of the transmission and reception module coincides. First and second modules(21,22) includes frame handlers, stream encryption transmission units(214,224), and stream encryption receivers(215,225) respectively. The frame handler records the sequenced number showing the order of transmission of the transmitting frame in the header of the transmitting frame and parses the receiving frame. The stream encryption transmission unit encrypts data included in the body of the transmitting frame. The stream encryption receiver decrypts the data included in the body of the receiving frame when the sequence number included in the header of the receiving frame coincides with the sequence number of the frame to be received.
