An organic electroluminescent device and method for fabricating thereof is provided to block gas and water permeation by adhering an upper substrate close with a first seal line and adhering the sealed substrate close with a second seal line. An organic electroluminescent device includes a fist substrate and a second substrate. An organic electroluminescent layer(320) is formed on the top of the first substrate. A thin film transistor is formed on the top of the second substrate(Tr). A first seal line(600) is formed in order to attach the first substrate and the second substrate. A second seal line(680), having a plurality of metal balls, is formed around the edge circumference of sealed first and the second substrate. A first substrate includes an electrode formed in order to supply the power to the organic electroluminescent layer, a column spacer(335b) for the electric contact with the thin film transistor of the second substrate and a partition(225) separating the organic electroluminescent layer by the sub-pixel unit.
