The cut pile loops run in the warp direction. Each pile loop is stitched twice at the bottom "U" end of the loop by a chain stitch. The machine used mfres. the pile in double rows in which the pile loops, when cut, are inclined towards each other, thus enhancing the pattern effect. The machine will stitch pile on every on every second or fourth stitch to vary the pattern.
