An expansion valve of an air conditioning system for vehicles is provided to prevent the decrease of the cross efficiency according to the increase of the opening degree of a cross flow channel and prevent the refrigerant overheat of the evaporator. The expansion valve of the air conditioning system for the vehicles comprises a first and second cross flow channel(35, 36) throttling the refrigerant in a condenser and an opening degree control device(40) controlling the opening degree of the first and second cross flow channel according to the temperature of the refrigerant ejected in the evaporator(8). The opening degree control device includes the first and the second valves(42, 44), a temperature sensing room(50), a diaphragm(60), and an actuating rod(70).
