An acidophilic fermented milk drink with enhanced functional properties comprises normalized homogenized pasteurized cow’s milk, pure cultures of Lactobacillus acidophilus, fructose, lactulose syrup and mixed cultures of bifidus bacteria, in particular Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium longum and Bifidobacterium adolescentis at a ratio of bifidus and lactobacteria of 10:1. |
