NEW TYPE OF PLASTICISER FOR CLAY-BASED MORTARS

The present invention refers to a new type of plasticiser for clay-based mortars, which is used in constructions, replacing completely the lime in masonry coatings and mortars. It is not caustic and does not oxidize metals. In order to obtain the same result, the quantity of plasticiser used is less than that of the lime. It is used for the preparation of various mortars, such as plasters, masonry mortars, being mixed on-site with cement, sand and water.
