A communication terminal for renewing a delivered short message and an operation method of the communication terminal are provided to enable a caller to replace the transmitted short message with a different modified short message to transmit it to a callee. A communication terminal(200) comprises the followings: a short message receiving part(201) receiving a short message from a calling terminal; and a short message renewing part(202) receiving a renewal short message for renewing the short message from the calling terminal. The short message renewing part controls the short message so as to be renewed by the renewal short message in case the first caller identifier in the short message is identical to the second caller identifier in the renewal short message. The renewal short message includes a delimiter for controlling the renew of the short message. |
