<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bonding device which transmits stable vibration to a bonding object and ensures appropriate bonding quality, and to provide a bonding tool. <P>SOLUTION: In the bonding tool used for wire bonding, a through hole 12a for inserting a capillary 13 (crimping piece) and a slit 12b for splitting/tightening are provided at the tip end of a horn 12, and an outside taper face 30a including a formation range of the slit 12b and an external screw part 12a are provided on the tip end side of the through hole 12a. When tightening the capillary 13, a tightening member 31 with an inside taper surface 31b having a shape like the outside taper surface 30a is pressed in the lengthwise direction of the horn 12 by an internal screw member 32 to be engaged with the external screw part 12c, so as to tighten the outside taper surface 30a by the inside taper surface 31b. Thus, the tightening force can work in the vibration transmission direction, thereby transmitting stable vibration to the bonding object and ensuring excellent bonding quality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
