<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an optical disk and a chucking core from contacting an antenna even when the antenna of a data reader/writer is attached to the inner surface of an upper cover. <P>SOLUTION: The data reader/writer is provided with the communication antenna 31 and a communication control circuit. A housing concave part 9a is formed in a position opposed to an IC antenna 26 on a lower surface of the upper cover 9. The communication antenna 31 and a magnetic body sheet 33 are housed in the housing concave part 9a. A protection sheet 34 is stuck to the inner surface of the upper cover 9 so as to cover the communication antenna 31. When the optical disk 4 having high surface deflection and warpage is placed on a disk tray 14, the optical disk 4 and chucking core 18 never come in contact with the communication antenna 31 though a side surface of the optical disk 4 comes in contact with a second area 34e of the protection sheet 34 when the disk tray 14 is moved from an exposure position toward a housed position in a direction A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
