PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition which has a good foam suppressing effect in a wide range from low to high temperatures. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil composition comprises a lubricant base oil and an additive in the base oil. The additive contains not less than 10 ppm of compound which is effective in a foam suppressing, especially based on a total weight of the lubricating oil composition.
