1. Transportation pallet for pressurized gas cylinders, having a rectangular bottom frame (11) and bottom angles (12) arranged above on supports (15, 16), in said bottom angles (12) a bottom plate (14) designed as pressure-welded grate being inserted, having at the corners vertical spars (21.1, 21.2) being connected at their upper ends and approximately at half their height on three sides by horizontal struts (22, 24), the upper horizontal struts (22) being provided on two opposite sides with load lugs (28) and with load distribution struts (27) arranged slopingly towards the bottom, whereas the forth side is intended as loading side, and being displaceable with a loading shutter (31) extending approximately to half its height and being swingable by an axle (33) arranged at its lower end and forming axle journals on both sides, and with a safety girder (41) arranged approximately at the height of the upper ends of the vertical spars (21.1), said safety girder (41) being swingable by a guide rod (44) of a pivot/sliding bearing (42), said guide rod (44) being provided at an adjacent, lateral, upper horizontal strut (22) and extending in parallel to it, and said safety girder (41) being lockable along said guide rod (44), whereby the opened-up loading shutter (31) and the swung-down safety girder (41), the latter particularly having a pendulum-type catch-hook (45), are locked releasably, and whereby the safety girder (41) further comprises means for locking in swung-up position, characterized by the following features : a) the axle journals (33) projecting at the lower loading shutter edge and being borne in sleeves (32) engage one each into an oblong hole (37) provided in the vertical spars (21.1) adjacent to the loading shutter (31) and extending in direction of the vertical spars (21.1) ; b) near the upper edge of the loading shutter (31), approximately rectangular recesses (35) are provided, cooperating with U-shaped projections (36) at said vertical spars (21.1) ; c) the safety means for locking the safety girder (41) in opened-up condition is an oblong hole (43) in the safety girder (41), said oblong hole embracing the guide rod (44) of the pivot/sliding bearing (42) and having its longitudinal axis in direction of the safety girder (41), whereby, with erected safety girder (41), its outer edge is supported on the inner side of the vertical leg of the lateral, upper horizontal strut (22) provided with the guide rod (44), and whereby the distance of the axis of the oblong hole (43) to the outer edge of the safety girder (41) is only insignificantly smaller than the distance of the axis of the guide rod (44) to the inner side of the vertical leg. |
