PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an original plate for a lithographic printing plate which enables direct printing from digital data such as a computer by recording in use of a solid laser or a semiconductor laser light which irradiates an ultra violet light, a visible light, or an intra-red light, especially a simple process original plate for a lithographic printing plate which can be developed with an aqueous solution of lower than pH10 on a printing machine and has a good plate life and stain resistance, and also to provide a lithographic printing plate. SOLUTION: The original plate for a lithographic printing plate includes a base and a photosensitive layer having a surface whose angle of contact with water droplet is 70°C or over, the base including a functional group X thereon. The functional group X contacts the functional group Y which can interact therewith, thereby forming a chemical bond with a compound having the functional group Y and making the compound adsorb onto the base surface, enabling lowering of the angle of contact with water droplet of the base surface down to 30°C or lower.
