PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress unnecessary power consumption, while preventing the imbalance of the light falloff range at edges from being conspicuous by properly controlling a luminous flux restricting member. SOLUTION: Optical equipment 120 has: vibration proof means 105 and 114 suppressing image blur by moving the vibration proof element 105 in an imaging system, according to the vibration of the optical equipment; the luminous flux restricting member 102 having a light shielding or reducing action with respect to a part of a luminous flux in the imaging system; a drive means 111 moving the luminous flux restricting member; and a control means 116 controlling the drive means, according to the operation of a vibration proof mechanism.
