PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-priced brake control apparatus for vehicle, which gives a braking force corresponding to a grounding load to wheels. SOLUTION: In this device comprising two systems of hydraulic pipes, a target amount of the braking liquid pressure corresponding to a grounding load of each wheel is computed per wheel. The auxiliary liquid pressure of each liquid pressure pipe to be adjusted by a hydraulic pump HP# and a solenoid valve LV# are respectively adjusted, and the liquid pressure (the master cylinder pressure + the auxiliary pressure) of each liquid pressure pipe is respectively adjusted so as to match with a larger one of the target amount of the braking liquid pressure of the corresponding two wheels. On the other hand, the braking liquid pressure of one of two wheels corresponding to each liquid pressure pipe which has smaller one of the target amount of the braking liquid pressure is reduced/adjusted so as to match with a value equal to the target amount of the braking liquid pressure of itself. Braking force corresponding to the grounding load is given to the wheels with simple structure without providing a linear solenoid valve in each wheel. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
