PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator for a seat for a vehicle formed in a miniaturizable simple structure. SOLUTION: In this actuator 1 of a seat for a vehicle, when a motor 11 is normally rotated, a first cable 5 is pulled, when it is reversely rotated, a second cable 6 is pulled, and the state of a sheet for the vehicle is changed by the first and second cables 5, 6. The actuator further comprises a tilt lever 2 normally or reversely tilted when the motor 11 is normal or reversely rotated, a first pulling member 3 connected to the first cable 5 pressed by the tilt lever 2 normally tilted when the motor 11 is normally rotated, and a second pulling member 4 connected to the second cable 6 and pressed and tilted by the tilt lever 2 reversely tilted when the motor is reversely rotated.
