PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate trouble of work regarding renewal of software and to reliably and normally renew the software. SOLUTION: The remote monitor device 20 and an elevator control device 30 are provided in the elevator 11. When the renewal software is fed from a monitor center 13 to the elevator 11 through a communication network 12, the remote monitor device 20 receives the renewal software and stores it in a memory 24. Further, according to predetermined renewal operation, the remote monitor device 20 feeds the software memorized in the memory 24 to the elevator control device 30 and write it in the memory 33.
