PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable power storage unit by reducing a cooling variation in a power storage element. SOLUTION: The power storage unit comprises: a plurality of power storage elements 11; a lower holder 19 holding the power storage element 11 by inserting a bottom section 52 of the power storage element 11; and a metallic pedestal 33 fixing the lower holder 19. In the lower holder 19, a through-hole 55 is provided at one portion of a part that opposes the pedestal 33 and abuts on the bottom section 52. There is insulating heat conduction grease 34 in the inside of the through-hole 55, between the bottom section 52 and the lower holder 19, and between the lower holder 19 and the pedestal 33. The power storage element 11 is thermally connected to the pedestal 33, thus radiating heat uniformly, reducing a cooling variation exceedingly, and hence equally advancing deterioration in the power storage element 11 caused by heat for higher reliability.
