PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite communication system which confirms abnormality of communication with an earth station, specifies a factor of the abnormality even in a situation that signals transmitted from the earth station can be received and intensively monitors receiving states of a plurality of earth stations. SOLUTION: The satellite communication system 10 receives the signals transmitted from one or more earth stations 8 of communication partners via a satellite, and comprises: a carrier clock reproduction part 22 and a D/A converter 20 which acquire quality data concerning the signals including frequencies or levels of the received signals; a data separation part 23 which acquires received data including earth station identification information for identifying the earth stations 8 when the received signals are demodulated; a data processing part 30 which composes the acquired received data and the quality data; and a display part 42 which displays the earth station identification information and the quality data to be made correspond to each other based on the composite data composed by the data processing part 30.
