PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system for school allowing immediately communication to persons in the school and in an outside thereof in parallel, when an accident occurs in the school, and capable of constructing inexpensively a peculiar network by a radio wave without using an existing line such as a cellular phone. SOLUTION: This security system for the school is provided with an alarm transmitter 2 having a transmission part 22 for transmitting an emergency signal for a fixed period by the radio wave, an alarm reception unit 4 equipped with a receiver 40 for receiving the emergency signal by the radio wave, an automatic announcement device 50 for notifying automatically the emergency signal to a preliminarily registered portion, when receiving the emergency signal by the receiver 40, an in-school broad-casting facility 60 for broad-casting therein a preliminarily registered content emergently, and an announcement display 70 for specifying a transmission source of the emergency signal received by the receiver 40, by a computer, to be displayed, and an alarm 8 having a reception part 81 for receiving the emergency signal.
