PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two dimensional multi-point positioning mechanism capable of accurate, easy and speedy positioning. SOLUTION: A positioning pin 10 interlocked with an XY table 4 is horizontally movably provided in a positioning plate 3. Straight grooves 13-16 connecting the positioning holes 5-8 of the positioning plate 3 according to a working order are provided, and the positioning pin 10 is moved being guided by the straight grooves 13-15.
