PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for easily specifying a position in an indoor environment. SOLUTION: In a position specification system 100 in an embodiment of the present invention, a portable communication terminal 10 is allowed to acquire an audio signal from a sound source, thereby specifying a receiving position of the audio signal. Specifically, at the portable communication terminal 10 that stores information of a sound source, an audio signal from the sound source is acquired, information on the acquired audio signal is compared with the previously stored information of the sound source, and based on a position at which the sound source is installed, the receiving position of the audio signal is specified.
