PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate mainly a non-movable bracket. SOLUTION: This steering column mounting part structure comprises a locking part 51 for temporary holding having movable boundary parts 41 set at front and rear mounting parts 36, 37, respectively, and a temporary holding part 38 formed on a steering column 34, and a temporary holding tool 52 fitted to a column bracket 35 and capable of temporarily holding between itself and the locking part 51 for temporary holding. The locking part 51 for temporary holding projects directly from the steering column 34. After the steering column 34 is secured to the column bracket 35, the temporary holding tool 52 is detachably set through a temporary holding tool detachable support part 55. After the temporary holding tool 52 is dismounted, the steering column 34 is directly secured directly to the column bracket 35 through the front and rear mounting parts 36, 37 forming the movable boundary parts 41.
