PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that exhibits excellent pressure sensitive adhesive properties after crosslinking treatment and is excellent in heat resistance and detachability. SOLUTION: The pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprises a base polymer, that is a modified (meth)acrylic polymer (B) prepared by combining and polymerizing a 100 pts.wt. (meth)acrylic polymer (A) containing a 0.2-10 wt.% (meth)acrylic monomer represented by general formula CH2=C(R1)COOCnH2nOH as a monomer unit, wherein, R1is hydrogen or methyl group and n is an integer of 4-10, a 10-200 pts.wt. monomer (a) whose homopolymer has a glass transition temperature (Tg) higher than that of the polymer (A), and a 0.02-5 pts.wt. peroxide, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition contains a 0.01-2 pts.wt. crosslinking agent to the base polymer of 100 pts.wt.
