<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric compressor enabling lubricating oil to be immediately fed to a bearing at a start of operation by making a predetermined quantity of lubricating oil reside in a high pressure oil reservoir chamber even if the operation stops. <P>SOLUTION: The electric compressor has a low pressure oil pocket 19 formed in a vessel 11 and a high pressure oil reservoir chamber 29 formed in a delivery chamber 27 of a compression mechanism 20, and has a communication hole 75 forcibly feeding oil from the high pressure oil reservoir chamber 29 side to the main bearing 50 and establishing communication between the low pressure oil pocket 19 and the high pressure oil reservoir chamber 29, and has a valve 74 closing the communication hole 75 during operation and opening the communication hole 75 during an operation stop installed in the communication hole 75. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
