<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing an odor generated in image formation for a long period. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has an exhaust path for exhausting gas discharged from the image forming apparatus, an odor detection means for detecting the odor of the gas to be discharged, an odor removal means for removing the odor, and a control means for controlling use of the odor removal means on the basis of a detected value of the odor detected by the odor detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
