CONTROLLING AGENT FOR PLANT DISEASE, PLANT DISEASE-CONTROLLING METHOD, AND DISEASE-RESISTANT PLANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new controlling agent for plant diseases using a microorganismal agrochemical effectively controlling plant diseases caused by microbes belonging to the genus Phytophthora by a simple operation with the need of neither experience nor intuition, to provide a plant disease-controlling method using the same, and to provide disease-resistant plants.

SOLUTION: Plant diseases caused by microbes belonging to the genus Phytophthora are controlled by inoculating beforehand plant seedlings with a plant disease-controlling agent containing cucumber mosaic virus's attenuated virus. The disease-resistant plants including disease-resistant capsicum seedlings are obtained using the above agent.
