PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate reusable water by eliminating formaldehyde from exhaust gas drain water in a water heater.
SOLUTION: Drain water collected from a secondary heat exchanger 1 for recovering latent heat is led to an electrolytic bath composing a formaldehyde removal device 5 to oxidize and remove the formaldehyde by electrolysis. The water with the formaldehyde removed is made to flow in to a bath 2 as reusable water for bath water or reclaimed water. A bottom plate 113 of a heat exchanger case 11 of the secondary heat exchanger 1 is tilted downward from an outflow port 112 on the downstream of a combustion exhaust gas flow toward an inflow port 111 on an upstream as a drain receiving part 11a, and a drain water introduction pipe 13 is opened at an upstream end side. A large amount of drain water generated downstream is made to flow down upstream to thereby heat the drain water to high temperatures.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
