SURFACE ACOUSTIC WAVE APPARATUS AND BRANCHING FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a ripple in a surface acoustic wave apparatus which has a LiTaO3piezoelectric substrate joined onto a support substrate and in a branching filter. SOLUTION: The surface acoustic wave apparatus is provided which includes: the support substrate 10; the LiTaO3piezoelectric substrate 20 joined onto the support substrate 10 and having a normal direction of a principal plane 21 rotated by 43 to 53°in a direction to a Z axis direction from a Y axis around an X-axis; and an electrode pattern 22 formed on the piezoelectric substrate 20, the branching filter using the surface acoustic wave apparatus is also provided.
