PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the usability of a heating cooker having higher performance and complicated. SOLUTION: This heating cooker includes: a heating source; an operation part 4 having an input means 5 for setting the operation contents, a display means 6 for displaying the setting contents, the input contents and the operation condition of the heating source in color, and an input auxiliary display means 16 lighted in color for promoting a user to perform input operation; a display means drive control means 8 for controlling the display drive of a display means 6 and the input auxiliary display means 16; and a control means 10 for controlling the operation of the heating source based on the input setting of the input means 5, wherein the display means 6 displays the display color of a now set item different from the colors of the other display items, and lights or flickers the input auxiliary display means 16 for promoting the operation of a key or a dial used in the input setting operation of the input means 5 for inputting the now set item in the same color as the display color of the now set item displayed on the display means 6.
