PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank cleaning apparatus which can surely clean and dry the inner surface of a tank member while transporting it by a conveyer. SOLUTION: The tank cleaning apparatus jets out a cleaning liquid 8a from downward onto the inner surface 1c of the tank member 1 by a cleaning nozzle 8 while the tank member 1 is transported by the conveyer 4, and thereafter an air 9a is jetted out from downward by a drying nozzle 9 to clean and dry the inner surface 1c of the tank member 1, wherein a guide bar 5 for elevating and swinging a flange 1b is arranged so that the flange 1b, that is a part of the tank member 1 to be loaded on the conveyer belt 4 to be transported, does not interferes with the cleaning nozzle 8 and the drying nozzle 9, and the friction resistance of the guide bar 5 is established lower than the friction resistance of a conveyer belt 4. The guide bar 5 is arranged at the left and the right of the cleaning nozzle 8 and the drying nozzle 9 which are arranged at the neighbor hood of the central part of the inner side of the tank member 1.
