PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device of a cooker which has a reduced number of display contents or keys and is inexpensive as well as preferably operable. SOLUTION: The display device 1 of a cooker 2 includes a panel 10. The display device includes a liquid crystal display portion 5 for various displays, a function switch 6 composed of a mechanical switch, a touch switch 11 disposed at a place other than the liquid crystal display portion 6 and performing operation required for cooking, and a back light 9 provided behind the touch switch 11. When the function switch 6 is not operated, the touch switch 11 is concealed, and when the mechanical switch 6 is operated, the back light 9 is turned on to make the touch switch 11 emerge.
