<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate inconvenience such as additional cost of a separate auxiliary system generated in a structure where a main light source is turned off when power is lost, and a separate auxiliary emergency preliminary one is lit. <P>SOLUTION: In one exemplary embodiment of the LED lighting package 300, the package 300 is operated in a normal manner in a first normal power mode in which power is supplied through a power line such as building wiring. In this operation mode, all fifty LEDs in five lines are made to emit light, and ambient illumination of a normal room is provided. When the normal power is lost in service interruption, the power loss is detected, and the package 300 is operated in a second mode in which power is supplied by a battery. In an auxiliary battery mode, only one of the LED lines is made to emit light, and emergency illumination is provided to allow an occupant and the like of a building to safely move to an exit and exit from the building. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
