PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To successively and accurately pile up a printed label (a) continuously cut and delivered from a printer 2 while reversing upside down utilizing gravity without requiring motive power. SOLUTION: The paper storage device for the printer is provided with the printer 2 provided with a printing means for performing printing on lengthy printing roll paper 5; and a paper storage box 1 for storing the delivered paper cut to a predetermined width and delivered from the printer 2. In the paper storage box 1, a back surface plate 17 close to a delivery port 12 and a front surface plate 18 far from the printer 2 are provided, and a clearance between the front surface plate 18 and the back surface plate 17 is made smaller or equal to the width of the delivered printed label (a). The front surface plate 18 is arranged in the state that it is forwardly inclined relative to a vertical direction, an introduction port 21 opened to the delivery port 12 of the printer is provided on an upper part of the back surface plate 17, and a guide 22 for downwardly dropping off the label (a) delivered from the delivery port 12 is provided on the upper part.
