PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a device and a program for tracking a state of migrating a logical partition. SOLUTION: This embodiment may use the state of migrating the logical partition to determine easiness or appropriateness for transferring a page of the logical partition, or both thereof. The state may include relative easiness and/or appropriateness of migrating the page or the both thereof, or a value used to track a change affecting the page, or other data. A page control table provided with an entry corresponding to the state of each page of the logical partition may be used to track the state, and meanwhile the logical partition may be operated continuously during the migration.
