PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eccentrically rocking reduction gear axially shortened while securing a large reduction ratio in an initial stage. SOLUTION: This eccentrically rocking reduction gear is provided with: a sun gear (sun rotor) 116; a transmission gear (eccentric body shaft driving body) 118 rotated by the sun gear 116; an eccentric body shaft 120 rotated integrally with the transmission gear 118; external gears (rocking bodies) 124A, 124B swingably rotated by the eccentric body shaft 120; first and second carriers (carrier bodies) 132, 134 in synchronization with the rotation components of the external gears 124A, 124B; and a distance piece 125 arranged in the same axial position as the transmission gear 118 and regulating the axial movement of the external gears 124A, 124B. The distance piece 125 is so configured that their innermost portions P101-P104 in the radial direction of the reduction gear are formed inside of a circumference R102 including the outermost portions S101, S102 of the transmission gear 118 in the radial direction of the reduction gear, and the distance piece is locked with respect to the first and second carriers 132, 134.
