PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking apparatus which can continuously treat a lot of foodstuffs by heating, excels in a mass production nature, and can produce the foodstuff excellent in quality. SOLUTION: While supplying superheated steam into a processing chamber 12 from a heat exchange means 18, the superheated steam within the processing chamber 12 is collected into the heat exchange means 18, superheated steam is produced by re-heating by a heat radiation part 26 while mixing with saturated steam supplied from a steam developing means 16, and the superheated steam is circulated by another supply to the inside of the processing chamber 12.
